Yessummercamp.org – If you are looking for a free summer program for kids, you have come to the right place. “Yes, Summer Camp” offers a number of free activities for kids. These include the School of YES!, presentations by campers, and a Penny drive to help build a new playground at Van Duyn School.

For summer programs for kids, there are many options to choose from. Some programs are free, while others require registration. Some sites offer more than one program, so you can choose whichever one you like best. Registration is open until June 30, but some sites may require additional paperwork. Most camps run for seven hours a day, but some offer shorter sessions. Activities range from physical activities to academic support. Some camps also offer field trips.
YES Camp presentations
The YES Camp is a thirteen-day mentoring program where students learn the basics of engineering and science through hands-on experiments and lectures. Activities range from using hand-held spectrometers to visualizing data and developing a website. In addition, students learn about the latest technologies and how to apply them to their daily lives.
Throughout the summer, more than 700 campers will share their newly developed skills, talents, and creativity. Students will have the opportunity to interact with professionals in the STEM fields and see the benefits of these careers. This program is a collaborative project between the Georgia College and Baldwin County Schools. The project is funded through the Georgia Department of Education’s Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
Penny drive for new playground for Van Duyn School
The new playground is one of the most important projects at Van Duyn School and “Say Yes” summer camp is proud to be a part of it. This summer, campers will participate in a Penny drive to raise funds for the project. The program will offer fun games, art activities, and music. In addition, campers will have the chance to participate in special events and enjoy the summer sun.
